⸻ Summer 2023: A time to decline (Chapter III)

Mystery Of A Meadow

 Chaotic minds after 2023

A poisoned man with LSD who confronted (2024) Sidney with stupid psychosis near the entrance and security just confirmed this way

It’s possible that *quicity got a taste of money after festival 2023—and in a way, that was because of Sidney SN (a Cz*ch chauvinism what the ravers, people from different reality brought to the festival in the West) and the overcrowding at *quicity Festival 2023, with more visitors than meadow could realistically handle, pushed them to change their policy. And that shift, perhaps, connects with * It Roll’s approach and the broader different country business mindset.

But what’s funny is that *quicity has now turned into a multi-genre electronic music festival. It’s no longer just about hard, dark drum and bass, but now includes psy genres and other between styles. It’s for a laugh, because this kind of shift is something usually to see at small festivals, for example, in Cz*chia—festivals that are fighting just to stay alive, or they are decentralized small local event with local DJs of many electronic music genres. They try to broaden their scope just to survive.

So when *quicity doing the same, it’s for a laugh. They’re clearly trying to attract more people. And in some way, because of that policy change in 2023, it’s possible that the festival actually has fewer visitors now than it did in the past. The truth is, there were problems with attendance at indoor *quicity events after the 2023 festival, and also *quicity Festival 2024 had decline interest— decline interest from a liquid people itself due to reality at *quicity Festival 2023.

Still, think the main reason for *quicity’s policy shift is business—specifically, the kind of business approach we see at group as is * It Roll. And that’s who understand. The West has always had a different approach—more about sustainability, both for people and the environment. So when you see someone trying to impose the unsustainable mindset of different realities on a West fest, this is as a bad sign.

I think *quicity is trying to attract all kinds of crowds to the festival. On one hand, they’re aiming for neurofunk dystopias—an unsustainable reality from Central, where neurofunk is mainstream, neurofunk ravers tend to be aggressive. On the other hand, *quicity is targeting psychedelic people—psy culture, among other things, accompanied by elements of alchemy. They’re trying to appeal to jungletek fans—speed music. They aim for a dark reality of deep DnB. They strive not only for liquid dancefloor but also for a mainstream dancefloor reality. And at *quicity, there are still remnants of its roots, like soulful liquid DnB and liquid dancefloor DnB. *quicity is trying to appeal to the widest possible spectrum of ravers, Why?—and *quicity is no longer “Liqui,” but “mishmashcity.”

The peak was during Winter 2022, when person said something about a great atmosphere. But the person didn’t know what would come after his statement. He underestimated the situation himself, not knowing it would turn bad. 2023 confirmed what person had seen everywhere in life, and what happened at the summer edition, when it was clear that someone had gone crazy because of my West.

  Declining Attendance Patterns (2023–2024)

Winter 2023:

Initially planned as a smaller event.

Adjusted during autumn—likely in response to lower expected demand.

Did not sell out, unlike Winter 2022, which sold out faster and more successfully.

Spring 2024:

Smaller in scale compared to Winter 2022.

Did not sell out, and the lineup was noticeably weaker, with less artist appeal.

*quicity Festival 2024:

Drew fewer attendees than the 2023 edition, suggesting a possible saturation point or declining interest.

  Possible Contributing Factors

Overexposure or saturation following the 2023 festival peak.

A decline in lineup quality or less compelling bookings.

A musical or cultural shift away from the core *quicity audience, with some longtime fans feeling the sound is becoming more generic or mainstream.

  Strategic Shift to Multi-Genre

The decline in attendance after the 2023 festival is one of the main reasons why *quicity Festival is now shifting toward a multi-genre format. As the brand began losing visitors—at both the flagship festival and indoor events in the West—it became necessary to diversify musically to attract a broader audience and remain competitive in the crowded festival landscape.

  Yet 2025

In a way, person might have had a cosmic hunch during Saturday that there was this disgust, a faded vibe. That can be expected. Just like a higher rate of theft. Whatever people bring into their homes, that’s what see. It’s likely things will get worse, because the better will fade away into the worse. I just remembered how I laughed in Prague in 2021, when someone was taking a photo in front of the big promo banner, as *quicity thought they would have another event in Prague in spring 2022. And there was nothing, just as I laughed in autumn 2021. 2021 Prague was the best, because in Czechia, of course, everything had been cut off earlier during the pandemic, and during the pandemic as well, and it was the first bigger DNB event in Europe where it was still impossible to hold events of that size. And there were lots of people from abroad because of that. In spring 2022, nobody came, because at Prague 2021 there had been foreigners. That’s an analysis.

Disclaimer: None of these words are necessarily true. It’s a mysterious story. The truth is just you know about 2023.
