The biggest liquid drum and bass community in Europe is generally considered to be in the United Kingdom, especially in London and Bristol.
1. United Kingdom
• London is the heart of liquid DnB culture with events hosted by labels like Hospital Records (especially through their sublabel Soulvent), Shogun Audio, and Liquicity events hosted occasionally. Artists like Lenzman, Hybrid Minds, Pola & Bryson, and Calibre often perform there.
• Bristol is another major hub. It has a deep-rooted bass music history, a strong sense of underground culture, and regular liquid nights.
2. The Netherlands
• Amsterdam is a close second. It’s the home of Liquicity, one of the most globally influential liquid DnB labels and event organizers. And Netherlands is a home Fokuz Recordings (Celsius Recordings). Or artists like is Nymfo, Leniz, or Edlan.
3. Germany
• Berlin, Hamburg, and Cologne have strong DnB scenes, with dedicated liquid nights and labels like C Recordings supporting the subgenre. The scene here is more niche but very loyal and creatively rich.
4. Czech Republic / Slovakia
• Although mainstream is neurofunk, or crossbreed, exists there a passionate community for liquid. Artists like Sidney SN have been gaining respect across borders, and labels occasionally tour the region, especially from the UK and Netherlands.
5. Belgium (Antwerp and Brussels) + Austria, Vienna has deep DnB roots thanks to artists like Camo & Krooked, though they’re not strictly liquid. And now in Austria exist Yumi Recordings. In Belgium is more liquid drum and bass very well known artists, including Hiraeth, for example.
6. Poland, Warsaw and Wrocław have emerging scenes. And from Poland is the great liquid producer Rafau Etamski.
